Anyone out there remember hearing Irish dance on the radio?

‘Take the Floor’ was, coincidentally, also once a popular radio show in Ireland during the 1960’s. It was the only show of its kind to feature Irish dance on the radio and it probably owed a great deal of its success to the popularity of its compere, Denis Fitzgibbon who was known as Din Joe. The 2012 TTF show paid homage to this piece of Irish radio history!
